No classes on the 1st and 2nd of January!

There will be no Salsa Studio 8 classes on the 1st and 2nd of January due to the celebrations of the New Year 2011. The classes will resume on the 8th of January at the CWA Hall in Lindisfarne and on the 9th of January at Sirens restaurant in Hobart.

Last class of 2010 this Sunday 19th of December!

Salsa Studio 8 is having it's last class of 2010 this coming Sunday 19th of December at Sirens restaurant.

Beginners: 6-7pm

Social dance: 7-8pm

Intermediate: 8-9pm

Also, and because it's Christmas, a very special dance is reserved for after the classes around 9pm. So come along to the last Salsa dance session of 2010 and boost your Christmas with lots of fun and dance!

No classes this weekend and some interruptions during December...

There will be no Salsa classes this weekend 27th and 28th of November. Salsa Studio 8 classes will resume on the 5th of December at Sirens restaurant.

Also, there will be several interruptions during December. There won't be any classes on the 4th, 18th, 25th and 26th of December. Salsa Studio 8 classes will run on the 5th, 11th, 12th and 19th of December.

The Beginners/Intermediate class from 6.00pm to 7.30pm is specially designed for people with little or no experience in Salsa dancing, but also for dancers with a good Salsa background. In this class we will explore not only the roots and basics of Salsa, but also important details on timing, rhythm, position, movement, leading and following...

The Social Dance from 7.30pm to 10.00pm is for practicing and having fun!!!
